Johnny Foreigner
Johnny Foreigner burst out of the second city in a feedback hurricane of thrilling new-wave fight pop. The three-piece, formed little over 12 months ago, come armed with a blistering array of melodious, discordant rackets that leave an immediate, indelible gunshot on the brain. This is inventive, exciting, angular art-pop - Johnny Foreigner won't be strangers to you for long.
Dananananaykroyd
Dananananakroyd hailing from Glasgow, offer up the best live show of any new band around. NME liken the band to Sonic Youth, Fugazi, At the Drive-In, Blood Brothers.
The Pistolas
The Pistolas are a punk-funk juggernaut, heirs to the throne of The Rapture and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the devious, devilish minds behind an arsenal of perfectly-formed, dancefloor-decimating songs that are currently thrilling eardrums across the UK. Art-punk heroes-in-waiting and the soundtrack to every party you'll gatecrash in the next year.
The Heights
The Heights are 4 young UK lads playing 'Thrilling, visceral Rock and Roll' (Artrocker)! Their debut single 'Long Way Home', a limited edition release through Best Before Records, served as an incredible introduction for the band to the UK scene. Their 'anthemic, riff-righteous rock songs with a snarling, shrugging indifference!' (The Fly) have led the band to early critical acclaim and spots on MTV Gonzo, NME Chart Show, Brand Spanking New, KerrangTV, E4's Freshly Squeezed, The Amp, Popty TV, Unit 5 TV, Pop Factory, etc. Having toured with 'Editors' and 'The Crimea' over the last few months, the band are ready to kick things off for their second single 'Jamaica Beer Eyes' touring with 'Stellastarr*' & 'The Morning After Girls' before making several appearances at SXSW this March!! Definitely, a band to watch!!!
The Morning After Girls
Engulfing stage presence and hazy melodies pull you right into the world of the morning after - a moment they characterize by a dreamy grogginess, a dischord of transient yet striking memories and sounds, nostalgia; a yearning to go back to last night...
The Morning After Girls deliver a wasted psychedelic pop fuzzy rock with obligatory raucous and anguished vocals that retain a smoldering edge - and that warrants repetitive listens. The band have enjoyed support from Rolling Stone, NME, MTV2 and have loads more on the way! Check 'em out at one of their 4 SXSW shows or on tour with BRMC or Stellastarr*.

Trailing Laces
Trailing Laces are young, very young, the kind of young that makes one feel old in your twenties. Yet, when you hear them play, you would never know it. Trailing Laces have something amazing going on, great songs performed with a tightness and charisma found in only the greatest bands, pure groove and attitude. It's early days but so much to look forward to. Catch the band at one of their shows during 'The Great Escape' in May in Brighton, UK.
